Hole Descriptions

About The Course

Cinder Ridge Golf Course spreads through 350 acres which winds over and through diving ravines. Remnants of the coal processing area (tipple) are evident on the 10th Hole with a pictoral history at the clubhouse entrance.

The design of the course is tough on the tees but eases off on the fairways. Tees areas are unusually large offering the opportunity for varied tee positions that lengthen or shorten the hole and provide different playing angles. In addition, the large tees on all par 3’s prevent excessive wear in any one area and provide the golfer consistent quality conditions.

Most greens are very receptive to your approach shot. Fifty-two traps are designed to be player-friendly. Greens are medium to large (5,00 to 8,000 sq. feet), most are relatively flat.

The course is extremely well marked to yardage… to speed your play. With your cooperation rounds should take no more than 4:15.
